Volti Audio - Klipsch Upgrades Policies

The most current version of our policies will be at the top of this page and dated with a start date.  Older versions of the policies will remain on this page for reference, located by scrolling down lower on this page, and they will have a date range of when the policies were in place.

Pricing and Payments


Pricing is subject to change without notice and may be different than shown on our webpages.

Most of the sales made here at Volti Audio start with a written "Quote" or "Invoice" that is sent to the customer via email for review.  Payment in full is expected before the products are packaged for shipping, or ordered from distributors.   Once payment has been made, no refunds will be issued to the customer.

Custom work is often written up in a "Work Agreement", and the payment for this work is often broken up into different parts, such as initial deposit, interim payments, and final payment.  All payments made as deposits, interim payments, or final payments are non-refundable unless otherwise written.



Agreement of Policies


Each Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice sent to our customers has the following note explaining where to find this webpage so you can view our policies:

When you make a payment to Volti Audio, in part or in full, based on a Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice, that payment indicates your acceptance of our written policies, as noted where it states:

"Your payment in part or full indicates your acceptance of the written policies of Volti Audio regarding this transaction"



Shipping


Volti Audio uses many different companies for shipping products.  We usually use Fedex Ground or Fedex Home Delivery for products shipped in the U.S.A. and Canada.   Shipping overseas is usually done by the U.S. Postal Service, Express or Priority Service.  Shipping costs and type of shipping service will be indicated on your Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice.  If you require more information about the type of shipping we are using, or if you have a special request regarding the shipping, please let us know.


Shipping Damage and Insurance

We always cover the contents of our packages with full coverage insurance, when available.   When you receive a package from Volti Audio, please inspect it carefully for damage.    To make a claim against the shipper for damages, we must prove that the package was damaged during shipping.  So it is important for you to inspect the package and if it is damaged, and the contents are damaged, keep the packaging for future reference and please notify Volti Audio of the damaged items immediately.

If an item is damaged during shipping, we will either replace the item or repair the item, the choice to be decided at our discretion.  If we determine that an item is to be replaced, we will ask that you return the item to us and a replacement will be shipped to you as soon as possible.  At our discretion, in some cases, we may send a replacement part to you before we receive the damaged parts back from you.  If we determine that an item should be repaired, we will ask that you return the item to us and we will repair it and send it back to you as soon as possible.   In the case of custom-made items, we will almost always require that the items be repaired.  We apologize for any incovenience and delay this causes our customers.


International Orders

Volti Audio will always disclose the full value of merchandise purchased on Customs Forms.  We do not collect any import taxes and or duties that your government might impose on products shipped from the United States. Please verify (in advance) what these duties might entail and make the appropriate arrangements with your local government.


Addresses

Volti Audio will use the shipping address that you provide us to ship your items to.  The shipping address will be written into your Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice, and it is your responsibiliy to make sure the shipping address is correctly written prior to making payment.  Volti Audio is not responsible for items lost in shipment or for re-shipping or return charges due to an incorrect address being provided to us.

Even if other addresses are provided to Volti Audio during the course of the transaction, such as one included in an email detailing a Paypal payment, or from an address in a signature line of an email, the address used for shipping will always be the one written into the Volti Audio Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice and it is up to the Buyer to verify that the address used in the Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice is the correct address.



Warranty


Volti Audio passes on to our customers, all manufacturers warranties provided to us by our distributors or manufacturers directly.  In addition, all Volti Audio custom products are warranteed for one year from purchase.  Because of conditions beyond our control, problems related to wood shrinking, swelling, checking, etc... are not covered under warranty.



Limitation of Liability


Volti Audio shall not be liable in contract tort or otherwise for loss or damage however caused and suffered arising out of or in connection with defects in goods supplied other than the replacement or repair or refund of the goods involved.



Privacy


Volti Audio will not sell or use your contact information or correspondence with us without us obtaining prior written consent from you.



Delivery Period


The delivery date of products or custom work will be stated in the Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice, and if not, the delivery time will be determined by what has been discussed through correspondence between Volti Audio and the Buyer.



Veneer Allowances


Sometimes in a Quote, Work Agreement, or Invoice, there is an allowance for veneer cost to be used for the project.  The allowance is a maximum amount not to be exceeded without extra costs being charged.  No refunds will be made for veneer costs that are less than the maximum veneer allowance amount.



Crossover Boards


Some of the Volti Audio crossovers are offered in various species of wood bases, one or more of which may be in stock at any particular time.   We will offer the in-stock species of wood first, and if the Buyer wishes to have something different than what is in stock, Volti Audio reserves the right to charge an extra cost to make the crossovers with different wood bases.



Credit Card and Paypal Charges


When your payment for Volti Audio products is processed via a Credit Card and/or Paypal, the cost of using that service is paid for by Volti Audio.  The cost equals approximately 3% of the total charged to the Card or Transferred via Paypal for Domestic transactions, and approximately 4% for international transactions.   The cost of using these payment services has NOT been built into our product costs.  Volti Audio does NOT, and cannot require that you pay for any costs associated with using these payment options, but we do ask that you consider donating money to partially or wholly pay for those costs so that we may keep the cost of our products as low as possible for those who are paying via cash, check, money order, or bank transfer. .  We think that our customers understand the dynamics involved with running a very small company like Volti Audio, selling direct to our customers, and working hard to produce high quality, custom-made products for our customers at the lowest possible cost.  As such, we also think our customers are quite willing to cover the cost of the service provided by a Credit Card company or Paypal to help them complete their transaction.   We thank you for your consideration.

Returning Speakers


Volti Audio offers a limited return policy for new, complete speaker pairs and/or systems sold to our customers.  To be able to take advantage of this offer, the Buyer MUST request the full language of Volti Audio's policy be written into the Invoice used for the sale of the speakers/system at the time of purchase.
